The steps are as follows:
- Select a GPRS command from the communication protocol file and copy it.
- From the system menu, select Business-Device-Device list.
- Select a device from the Device list. Check that the device is online. Only when the device is online can the command sent by the server be successfully sent to the device.
- Hover the mouse over the Menu button on the selected device. The system will display the Menu. Select ‘SMS command’ from the menu.
- Paste the command copied in step 1 into the dialog box that opens, fill in the parameters, and click OK.
- The server sends the SMS command using a BPSM packet and displays ‘Command issued successfully’.
- To check if the device has received instructions, select ‘Raw log’ from the menu of the selected device. Enter the date to query the log. BPSM packets indicate instructions sent by the server. APSM packets indicate that the device has received the instructions and is sending the execution results back to the server.
